The practical activities and exercises for inaugural trainees of the Fundamental Training (FT) Course of Philippine Railways Institute (PRI) started at Metro Rail Transit Line 3 (MRT-3), on June 21, where they were exposed to activities related to the daily operations and maintenance of the railway line. PRI instructors, with the assistance of MRT-3 technical personnel, supervised the simultaneous training activities and functional exercises of about 69 PRI trainees. The activities and exercises motivated the Cycles 1 and 2 trainees by highlighting the important role of the railway personnel in delivering high-quality railway services.

Trainees who underwent practical activities related to passenger crowd management, ticket selling, control center operations, and preparation and management in an emergency situation.
